Despite being away from the historical center, it is adjacent to a green area, providing a nice escape from the hustle and bustle. I had a great stay at this hotel. The room was clean and spacious, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. They even gave me some Belgian chocolates for my friend's birthday. The hotel is located in a quiet area, adjacent to a green space, so it was nice and peaceful. It was also easy to find and close to public transportation, with a bus and tram stop just a short walk away. The breakfast had a decent choice and the hotel had parking available. the hotel is close to the shopping center and easy to reach from the airport or nearby hospitals.

Everything was excellent, extremely helpful staff, best possible location just off a bus stop and tram station, the city center, supermarket. Perfect breakfast with fresh pancakes and waffles, for instance.

The room I stayed in at Mercure was spacious and comfortable. I was kinda surprised when they provided an extra bed for my child free of charge. The hotel is also located in a quiet area, away from the busy city center. Despite the small inconveniences, like a slightly warm room and some stains on the carpet, overall I had a good experience at Mercure Antwerp City South.

The facilities were satisfactory and the staff offered great assistance. Upgraded room provided with good WiFi signal. Restaurant served excellent dinner and breakfast options. Would revisit and recommend. Enjoyed convenient location, only a short tram or bus ride to city center.
